Rumbletums Cafe

Rumbletums is a cafe and training project for young adults with learning disabilities. We’re located on the corner of Victoria Street and Newdigate Street and offer breakfast, lunch, snacks, delicious cakes and, of course, excellent coffee. Everything is made on the premises.

The café offers a tasty menu with Fairtrade and locally sourced ingredients being used as much as possible. A wide range of breakfasts, snacks, main courses and deserts/cakes are offered and choices are changed daily. Staples such as quiche, baked potatoes and other light meals are served alongside delicious dishes such as lasagnes, chilli, sausage and mash, ciabattas and soup. All our meals and cakes are made on the premises. Also on sale are home-made jams and chutneys.

The atmosphere is child friendly and is fully accessible for wheel chair users.

The café first opened in July 2011 and has gone from strength to strength. From initially being supported entirely by volunteers the cafe now has four full-time employees They have contributed to the reputation we have already gained for excellent lunches, cakes and coffee.

We try and keep the information on the business directory as accurate as possible. The last thing we want is a customer on their way to a business turning up to a ‘closed’ sign or not being able to book that last minute table or appointment!

If you think you’ve spotted a mistake on one of our pages let us know using our ‘Submit a Story’ contact form and we’ll try to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

If you are the owner of this business and would like to add a little more to your bio, change a phone number or add some nicer pictures, please use the very same contact form ‘Submit a Story’ from the homepage or HERE.
